Entry 4 – Viewing Art – Eilidh December 15, 2009

Visting an art gallery to view art may not be exactly how the artist intended it to be view but it would be significantly better that looking at it online or in a book.  Being able to see the art works  in person gives you a much better because you can see it in actual size, the colours are perfect and you will probably be able to get up close to view texture and much more minute details.  Having art online and in books clearly has its advantages too, because  so many works or art are not up for viewing for a multitude of reasons, maybe it’s too valuable to public viewing or it could be in a private collection, so having access to it in a book or on the internet just about everyone can see it.  It is also good for those who don’t have the opportunity to fly across the world to see all the magnificent art available.
